After a series of consecutive floods hitting Vietnam’s central regions, typhoon No. 9 – Molave storm continued to attach by 12 level winds, causing heavy rain, flash floods and land-slip. Residents of the flood-prone areas had to experienced extreme exhausting time, hundreds of families have lost homes and remain nothing after the flood.
Unable to stand still with this situation, many donors, volunteers, local government, both individuals and organizations, promptly provided succor that help those suffer people to overcome this difficulties time.
Responding to that spirit, Titan Technology Corporation’s staff, volunteer team and family members have participated in a donation activity to send as many helping hands as possible to people in Central Vietnam. This fundraising activity took place in 4 days (19th -22nd October, 2020), with final result was VND 251,100,000, which would be sent to the people in distress. We had cooperated with 2 volunteer groups with 2 main activities, hand in hand to relieve disadvantaged areas in need of help.
In cooperation with the “Ao xanh nhan ai” volunteer group, we have supported to donate 100 necessity packages to people in the area of Dien Truong village, Ba Don town, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province on 30th and 31st October 2020.
At the same period, the second volunteer group with the direct participation of Mr. Nguyen Tan Thanh - CEO of Titan Technology Corporation, in accompanied by Hai Tien Trading Steel Company, Truong Loc Auto Trading Service Joint Stock Company, De Nhat Oto Co.,ltd and Southern Waves Solutions, started their aid journey from 24th October to 2nd November 2020.
They successfully sent 750 packages worth VND 750,000 to people in A Doi commune, Xy commune - Quang Tri province, Quang Ninh province, Quang Binh province, Ly Son island, Mo Duc town - Quang Ngai province and Hoai Nhon town - Binh Dinh province.
Exceptionally, this group gave 20 special gifts worth VND 1,350,000 including necessities and VND 1,000,000 in cash to the extremely difficult circumstances at 4 locations : A Doi commune, Xy Commune, Quang Ninh province and Ly Son Island.
In the nutshell, both groups were successful, contributing to extending the mutual arm to the natural disaster land in Central Vietnam of Titan Technology Corporation in particular and all cooperative units in general.
